"When a woman says no, she really means to say yes / Swedish Proverb" - this was the tweet by former Dubai Police Chief Dhahi Khalfan Tamim that sparked online controversy last week.

First, Yemeni writer and activist Hind al-Eryani stepped in to set things straight. Then Sweden itself got involved to clarify that when a woman says no, she really means no.
