Muslims across the world are preparing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, the festival which marks the end of Ramadan.

Eid al-Fitr, which literally translates to "the festival of breaking the fast," is a time when Muslims celebrate with their loved ones, family and friends after a month of abstaining from food and drink between dawn and sunset.

Muslims spend the day feasting, spreading joy and exchanging gifts; but also reflecting on their spiritual progression after spending Ramadan seeking to purify their soul, controlling their desires, and strengthening their connection with God.

Here you can test yourself on just how much you know about the celebration.
