Another Ramadan amid the coronavirus pandemic has come to an end with lockdowns and social distancing measures once again disrupting the holy month with restrictions on communal prayers and meals.
Eid al-Fitr this year is unlikely to fare better, with laws against mass gatherings in many countries. Nevertheless, that does not mean Muslims will forgo this year's festivities, and many will probably spend more time making the most of the occasion with their immediate family members.
