VIDEO: Gazan family adopts two lion cubs

Saad al-Jamaal and his family are raising two lion cubs that they adopted from the local zoo after it became a finanical burden for the zoo to care for them. The cubs are small now and the family has no concerns about their well-being. They have a large enclosure for the cubs for when they grow larger and could pose a potential risk to the family.

Saad al-Jamaal said that at the cubs' age now, they are safe around the children and they are easy to care for. Their diet consists of a small amount of food and plenty of milk.

Friends and neighbors, like the al-Jamaal family, seem to be happy to have the two cubs in the neighbourhood.

The al-Jamaal family's plan is to encourage the two cubs to breed and to create a lion cub petting zoo for the people of Gaza to enjoy.
