VIDEO: Turkish Kurds talk about their concerns over Sunday's elections

A rise in violence in southeast Turkey has made voters wary of the future

Turkey's southeast has become restive and violent following the breakdown of a ceasefire between the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the Turkish state and many residents fear for their safety as they prepare to head to the polling booths on November 1.

MEE travelled to Diyarbakir, the largest city in the southeast - which is 95% Kurd - to talk to residents about their concerns before the elections:
