Dubai airport partially resumes services after drone attack

Dubai International Airport, the world's busiest for international traffic, has announced it is partially resuming services.

Operations were suspended earlier on Saturday after the airport was struck by a drone.

The source of the drone was not immediately clear.

Emirates airline has said it will resume operations: "Passengers who have confirmed bookings for this afternoon’s flights may proceed to the airport. This includes customers transiting in Dubai, if their connecting flight is also operating."
