Egypt's Sisi says Israeli actions hinder existing and future peace treaties
Speaking at the Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has accused Israel of crossing "all red lines", and said its actions may hinder future and existing peace treaties.
"Let me make it clear. This belligerence reflects clearly that Israeli practices have gone beyond diplomatic and military logic," he said. "They have crossed all red lines. We strongly condemn Israeli belligerence on Qatar."
Sisi added that Israel must understand its security and sovereignty will not be achieved by force, but rather by respecting the law and the sovereignty of states.
"What is happening right now hinders the future of peace, threatens your security and the security of the peoples in the region and adds obstacles to chances for any new peace agreements and even aborts existing ones," he said.
