Evening recap

Good evening Middle East Eye readers. On Saturday, Israeli forces killed at least 39 Palestinians in bombings across the Gaza Strip. Twenty-seven of those killed were killed in northern Gaza.
In the aftermath of the Israeli raid of the Kamal Adwan Hospital on Friday, hospital director Dr Hussam Abu Safiyeh remains under Israeli arrest.
In the last photo of him before he was arrested, Abu Safiyeh could be seen walking alone in his medical garb and white coat towards two Israeli tanks amid the rubble.

-
Sabbah's family has said that security forces shot her while she was leaving her house. A spokesperson for the PA security forces said they were not at the scene of the shooting.
