Houthis condemn US strikes, vow to continue Red Sea operations

Yemen’s Houthis have accused the US of escalating tensions in the Red Sea, saying that American attacks pose the greatest threat to international shipping.

The group insists its maritime operations will persist until Israel ends its blockade on Gaza and allows critical humanitarian aid into the besieged territory.

Last week, the Houthis warned they would target Israeli vessels if aid restrictions on Gaza remained. They also reported that US strikes have killed at least 31 people, mostly women and children.

US President Donald Trump’s recent threat of further attacks has drawn sharp criticism, with the Houthis dismissing it as an attempt to intimidate. The group remains defiant, framing its actions as a response to Israel’s ongoing siege and US aggression.
