IRGC condemns attack on Iraqi Kurdish leader’s residence

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps condemned a drone attack on the residence of Iraqi Kurdistan President Nechirvan Barzani, blaming the United States and Israel and calling the incident a “clear act of terrorism,” according to remarks carried by Press TV.

The IRGC described the strike as an attempted assassination and part of what it called a pattern of “cowardly assassinations.”

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani said he had spoken with Barzani after the attack and ordered an investigation.
