Israel destroys Gaza's al-Ruya tower

Israel has struck al-Ruya, a commercial tower near al-Azhar University in Gaza City. Video footage of the strike showed what appeared to be the complete destruction of the tower.

Al-Ruya was the home to human rights organisations, medical clinics, law firms, children's care centres and other social and civil institutions. It is the fourth large building to have been demolished in Gaza by the Israeli military in the last two days.
