Israel says it has killed at least 50 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank

At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in the northern occupied West Bank since the Israeli army started a major offensive in the area two weeks ago, the militaty said. 

The military said it killed 35 Palestinian fighters in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tamoun. Another 15 were killed in targeted drone strikes, it added.

At least 100 Palestinians have been detained, the Israeli army said.
