Israeli forces attack, advance into southwestern Syria

Israeli forces shelled areas in southwestern Syria and advanced into the countryside of the Daraa province late on Wednesday, according to its state news agency.

According to the report, the army fired two artillery shells that landed near Saisoun village, located in the western Daraa countryside. 

Three Israeli vehicles reportedly pushed into Wadi al-Raqad Road in the Yarmouk Basin area and fired toward agricultural land, before withdrawing from the location.

Elswhere in Quneitra, in the south west of the country, state media added that Israeli forces targeted the area surrounding al-Mantara Dam with several artillery shells.
