Israeli foreign minister calls Spanish PM 'antisemite and a liar'

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar responded to the Spanish prime minister's call to ban Israel from sporting events by calling him "an antisemite and a liar" on Monday.

In a post on X, Sa'ar said Pedro Sanchez "and his Communist government are antisemites and enemies of the truth".

"Did Israel invade Gaza on Oct 7th or did the Hamas terror state invade Israel and commit the worst massacre against the Jews since the Holocaust?" he asked.
