Israeli police ease restrictions on Jewish prayer in Al-Aqsa complex

Israeli police have eased restrictions on Jewish prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to Haaretz.

A few months ago, police allowed Jewish worshippers to bring prayer sheets into the compound. They have now reportedly allowed worshippers to bring in prayer books.

The compound is administered by the Jordanian Waqf, meaning the moves violate the Status Quo agreement
