Israeli strike in southern Lebanon kills at least two, ministry says

Another deadly Israeli attack has struck southern Lebanon, with at least two people killed in the village of Zibqin, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.

The initial toll stood at one fatality, but the ministry later confirmed that a wounded person had succumbed to their injuries.

This latest strike follows last week’s Israeli assault on Beirut—its first since a fragile truce was declared in November—raising fears that tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border could spiral further.
