Warning sirens were activated across Kuwait for a second time, according to the state news agency KUNA, after earlier reports that Kuwaiti armed forces were intercepting what they described as “hostile missile and drone threats”.
In neighbouring Bahrain, the Interior Ministry also issued a public warning after sirens were activated, urging residents to “remain calm and head to the nearest safe place”.
The alerts come amid heightened regional tensions and reports of ongoing military activity across the Gulf.
