Netanyahu, Katz say they prepared for Doha attack after Jerusalem shooting

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defence minister Israeli Katz have said that they began preparations for the Doha strikes after Monday's shooting attack in Jerusalem, and the killing of four Israeli soldiers in Gaza on Monday.

They said in a joint statement that the attack was further justified by the fact that the Hamas "initiated and organized the October 7 massacre, and has not ceased to launch murderous actions against the State of Israel and its citizens since then".
