Palestinian Authority asks Trump to stop Israeli offensive in occupied West Bank

The Palestinian Authority has asked US President Donald Trump's administration to stop Israel's offensive on the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has called for an emergency UN Security Council session to address the, “ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people” in the northern West Bank.

On Sunday, Israel demolished 23 homes in the city of Jenin as part of its weeks long offensive.

The Palestinian Authority called on the UN to stop Israel's “systemic destruction of the infrastructure” in the occupied West Bank cities of Jenin, Tulkarem, Tamoun, and Tubas and Israel's attacks.
