Palestinians in Gaza face food shortages and rising prices amid blockade

Gaza residents are reporting facing food shortages in the middle of the holy month of Ramadan.

The renewed Israeli blockade on aid entering the strip has left residents grappling with food insecurity as prices on essentials triple.

"Last time we received aid, it was just a bag of flour and that bag is not enough. For those who have children, it is not enough to feed them. We need more aid than that". Khan Younis resident, Bushra Abu Akar told AP.

"There is no money, there is nothing".
