Report: Pentagon moves THAAD system from South Korea to Middle East

The Pentagon is moving parts of the THAAD system from South Korea to the Middle East, the Washington Post reported, quoting US officials. 

The report also said that the US is using its stockpile of Patriot missiles in the Indian and Pacific Oceans, adding that the Pentagon's moves are not due to a shortage of weapons but rather in anticipation of Iran escalating its attacks.
