Senior Hamas official confirms it wants five-year ceasefire

Ali Baraka, the head of Hamas' national relations department, has confirmed to the Lebanese channel Al Mayadeen that the Palestinian group wants an agreement in which all remaining Israeli captives will be released at once, in exchange for a "five-year ceasefire".

He said Hamas would not accept a ceasefire agreement similar to the one made in January, which Israel violated.
