The situation on Iran's Kharg island is "under control" and no damage to infrastructure has been found, according to Iran's Mehr News Agency.
The report also said that there has been no disruption to the island's oil facilities.
Earlier today, the United States carried out strikes on what it claimed are military targets on Iran’s Kharg Island, Axios reported, citing a senior US official.
