Trump says he will not let Iran charge for Hormuz transit

During a press conference outside the Oval Office on Monday, Trump told reporters that he is not going to let Iran impose fees on the Strait of Hormuz.

“It has to be [free]. I am not going to let them charge. If anybody is going to charge, we will charge, we are the ones … with a total control,” he said, adding that he will not be charging for ships crossing the US blockade of Iranian ports in the waterway.

“Hopefully Iran will come to their senses,” Trump said, saying he would give Iran “every last chance” before decapitation.
