US approves emergency weapons sale to Israel
7 March 2026 03:28 GMT
The US State Department on Saturday approved a possible emergency arms sale to Israel worth about $151.8 million, including munitions and related support services.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said an emergency determination was made to allow the immediate sale to the Israeli government.
The package includes BLU-110A/B general-purpose bombs as well as logistics and technical support. The State Department said the sale would support US foreign policy and help strengthen the security of a key regional ally.
