Yemen 'will remain Gaza’s shield,' says Houthi group

Nasruddin Amer, deputy head of the Houthi media office, has declared that recent deadly US air strikes will not deter the group, promising retaliation against the United States.

“Sanaa will remain Gaza’s shield and support and will not abandon it no matter the challenges,” Amer stated on social media.  

The US strikes followed the Houthis’ warning of renewed attacks on Israeli vessels near Yemen in response to Israel’s blockade on Gaza.
