Experts say ‘Hamas tape discussing missile malfunction’ is a fake

Alex Thomson, a chief correspondent for Channel 4 News, said that "several experts" have confirmed to the channel that the audio tape where "Hamas operatives" allegedly speak about a missile malfunction that caused the bombing of the al-Ahli al-Arab hospital, is fake.

In a post on social media platform X, Thomson says the experts say the “tone, syntax, accent and idioms are absurd”.

Israel’s attack on the hospital in Gaza killed 500 people and left hundreds of others wounded. Most of those killed were women and children.
