US missiles struck the central mast of the Ports and Maritime Organisation's maritime traffic control facility on Larak Island, according to Iran's state broadcaster IRIB.

IRIB also reported that Iran's army said its Arash suicide drones targeted a US military ammunition depot at Camp Al-Udairi and ammunition storage facilities at Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The army said several bridges in Kuwait that the US uses for military logistics were targeted in response to US attacks on Iran's transport bridges.

Three people were killed in US strikes on some parts of Iran’s Hormozgan province, IRNA reported, citing the region's deputy governor.

The official added that eight other people were injured in the attacks, the report said.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, meanwhile, said that they “stopped” four ships trying to transit the Strait of Hormuz and claimed that two oil tankers exploded after hitting the mines in the waterway.

"An hour ago, two oil tankers, which were trying to pass through the minefield south of the Strait of Hormuz by deceptive American intelligence agencies, exploded and caught fire," the Guards said in a statement published by state news agency IRNA, without identifying the tankers.
 

The Saudi civil defence issued two early warnings for Al-Kharj city and Yanbu early Saturday to be alert to "potential danger," but it later said the danger had passed in both areas, without providing details on the danger that triggered the warnings, according to Reuters.

Iran targeted an American military base in Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile, the first time that the Islamic Republic has directly attacked the kingdom in four months, a US official had told Axios.

Gaza's civil defence agency and a hospital said eight people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a gathering of civilians in the Al-Balata market area of Nuseirat refugee camp.

The area's Al-Awda hospital said it received eight dead and 22 people wounded in the strike.

Mahmoud Bassal, spokesman for the civil defence agency, told AFP the strike occurred during a funeral procession.

The civil defence agency and hospitals reported that five other people were killed in separate Israeli strikes on Friday.

They included two women and the man whose funeral was taking place when the market strike occurred.

Before Friday's casualties, at least 1,127 Palestinians had been killed since the truce took effect last October, according to Gaza's health ministry. 

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy said it intercepted and shot down a US MQ-9 drone over the southern port city of Bushehr using a newly developed air defence system.

Separately, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported that projectiles fired by the US landed outside the central city of Yazd. No casualties were reported.

Yemen's government, meanwhile, condemned 'unjustified' Iranian missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan.

A statement issued by the government said Yemen “considers these attacks a blatant violation of their sovereignty and territorial integrity, a threat to security and stability in the region, and a flagrant breach of international law”.

Two oil tankers exploded and caught fire after passing through a mined route south of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's state TV reported early on Saturday, citing a statement from Iran's Revolutionary Guards.

Five explosions were heard in the early hours of Saturday in Yazd, in central Iran, the state news agency IRNA reported, after the US military announced a seventh night of strikes against the country.

Another Iranian news agency, Mehr, reported that explosions were heard "in several provinces in the south" of Iran.

Iraq and Syria have signed a cooperation agreement to reconstruct a pipeline running from Iraqi oil fields to Syria’s Mediterranean coast, as part of a US-brokered deal to bypass the Strait of Hormuz.

Middle East Eye was the first to reveal that the US was brokering efforts to rehabilitate the Kirkuk-Baniyas oil pipeline, with US ambassador to Turkey and Syria envoy Tom Barrack taking the lead.

The US military’s Central Command says it has redirected four commercial vessels, disabled one and boarded another during the first three days of its latest naval blockade of Iran. 

US forces renewed their blockade on vessels leaving and entering Iranian ports on Tuesday evening.

The area around Sirik in southern Iran has been targeted in what it claims was an attack by the US military, the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA) reported.

A US federal judge this week ruled in favour of a prominent Palestinian-American academic and activist in a decision that deemed the search and seizure of his phones by customs officers to be illegal.

Osama Abu Irshaid, the executive director of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), had his phones taken from him and searched at Washington Dulles International Airport on two occasions in 2024, upon his return from trips to the Middle East. 

On Wednesday, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia determined that Abu Irshaid was indeed entitled to his Fourth Amendment claim, because "the evidence marshaled by Defendants... does not rise to the level of reasonable suspicion" of ongoing criminal activity, the decision read.

The US Central Command on Friday said the US military conducted a new round of strikes on Iran.

The European Union on Friday reiterated its call on Israel to refrain from expanding its settlements in the occupied West Bank.

"The EU reiterates its call on Israel to refrain from further settlement expansion, the legalization of outposts, land appropriation, demolitions, evictions and other unilateral measures that undermine the viability of the two-state solution," said a statement from the EU's diplomatic service spokesperson.

Earlier this week, Israel's security cabinet approved a budget of 1.3 billion shekels ($427.8 million) for establishing 34 new settlements in the West Bank.

The Israeli military commander responsible for the occupied West Bank has praised illegal settler outposts as security assets, laying bare the state support behind a network instrumental in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their land.

Major-General Avi Bluth, head of Israel’s Central Command, told a conference organised by the Farm Union on Wednesday that the agricultural outposts “align well with the security concept. It does not contradict it”.

“It integrates with it, provided that this is also reflected in operational conduct, as well as ethical conduct, and in accordance with the law,” he said.

Like every Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian territory, the outposts are illegal under international law. They are also illegal under Israeli law.

US forces have attacked an Iranian oil tanker docked near Iran’s Kharg Island for the second time in two days, Fars news agency reported, citing an Iranian official.

“The empty, Belma N.I.22 oil tanker, which was hit two days ago, was attacked again today by two US missiles,” the deputy governor of Bushehr told Fars.
