Live: Israeli forces detonate 20 homes in Jenin

Israel blew up 23 homes in Jenin in the occupied West Bank in its latest escalation of a weeks long assault on the city.
Israel also launched raids across the occupied West Bank attacking Tamoun and the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah. They also stormed neighbourhoods in Nablus.

Three people were shot to death in the northern town of Abu Snan, according to Israeli media reports.
Abu Snan is populated by Palestinian citizens of Israel.
The killing comes amid a simmering tensions in the region.
Israeli troops stormed neighbourhoods in Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Sunday night, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.
The raids come amid a series of attacks by Israel across the territory. Earlier on Sunday, Israel blew up at least 23 Palestinian homes in Jenin.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington, DC on Sunday.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that he will meet US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff on Monday to discuss phase two of the Gaza ceasefire.
Several Arabic media stations are reporting that Jordan will extradite Ahlam Tamimi to the US unless Hamas finds a third country to accept her.
Tamimi was imprisoned for her role in the 2001 Sbarro pizzeria bombing in Jerusalem, which killed 15 people, including seven children. She was sentenced to 16 life terms, but freed in a 2011 prisoner exchange with Hamas. After her release she lived in Jordan, where she has regularly made media appearances.
Ahlam Tamimi remains, however, wanted by the United States. In 2020, the previous Trump administration said that the billions of dollars it provides in aid to Jordan could be leveraged to extradite her.
In 2017 a Jordanian court ruled she could not be extradited as she has Jordanian citizenship and a 1995 extradition treaty with the US was not ratified by parliament.
Al-Araby Al-Jadeed news outlet reported that Jordan informed Hamas to find a country to relocate Tamimi.
The request comes after Jordan announced King Abdullah II will visit President Trump at the White House.
The Palestinian Authority has asked US President Donald Trump's administration to stop Israel's offensive on the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has called for an emergency UN Security Council session to address the, “ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people” in the northern West Bank.
On Sunday, Israel demolished 23 homes in the city of Jenin as part of its weeks long offensive.
The Palestinian Authority called on the UN to stop Israel's “systemic destruction of the infrastructure” in the occupied West Bank cities of Jenin, Tulkarem, Tamoun, and Tubas and Israel's attacks.
Israel has launched raids across the occupied West Bank, according to Arabic media reports.
Israeli forces attacked Tamoun in the occupied West Bank and made arrests.
They also raided the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, firing guns and launching tear gas bombs. The soldiers raided a house, according to reports.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu departed on Sunday for his trip to Washington, DC to meet US President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader to visit Trump at the White House.
Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani called on Sunday for quick implementation of phase two ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel.
"We underline the importance of commitment by all parties to implementing all the terms of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and starting the second phase (of negotiations)," Thani told a joint news conference in Doha with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
"There should be no compromises to engage in the second-phase negotiations," he added.
He said the talks were scheduled to start on Monday.
Israel has confirmed it destroyed 23 buildings in Jenin on Sunday, according to a military spokesman.
A video released by the Israeli military showed huge mushroom clouds exploding in the city simultaneously.
Israel has been attacking Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank for weeks.
Hezbollah will hold a funeral for its late secretary general, Hassan Nasrallah, on 23 February.
Nasrallah was assassinated by Israel in September 2024.
At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in the northern occupied West Bank since the Israeli army started a major offensive in the area two weeks ago, the militaty said.
The military said it killed 35 Palestinian fighters in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tamoun. Another 15 were killed in targeted drone strikes, it added.
At least 100 Palestinians have been detained, the Israeli army said.
The Palestinian Authority (PA) has issued a statement slamming the international community's “silence” over the “brutal bombings of citizens’ homes” in Jenin and Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank.
“We call on the international community to urgently intervene to stop the crimes of the occupation and its settlers against our citizens,” the Palestinian foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
Jordan's King Abdullah II will meet with US President Donald Trump on 11 February at the White House, the Jordanian state news agency reported on Sunday.

Israel has pounded Jenin refugee camp and destroyed residential buildings as part of its ongoing large-scale operations in the occupied West Bank.
Footage released by locals on social media appeared to show a large swathe of the camp being destroyed.
The Wafa news agency said Israeli forces simultaneously blew up nearly 20 buildings on the eastern side of the camp after rigging them with explosives.
The director of the main governmental hospital in Jenin, Wisam Baker, told the news agency that some sections of the hospital had been damaged as a result of the explosions.
So far, no casualties have been reported.
Earlier on Sunday, a 73-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead in Jenin, according to Wafa.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews recovered the body of Walid Lahlouh from the entrance of the camp, transferring it to the hospital.
