Cultural "genocide": Israel’s destruction of Gaza’s universities
Since the start of Israel’s war on Gaza on 7 October, all universities in Gaza have either been damaged or completely destroyed in what human rights groups have called a “cultural genocide”.
Institutions that in total have more than 90,000 students enrolled have been completely flattened by Israeli air strikes and 95 university professors have been killed.
