Ambassador Mootaz Ahmadein Khalil has been the Permanent Representative of Egypt to the UN in New York (2012-2014). He was also the Deputy Permanent Representative of Egypt to the IAEA (2005-2008). He has retired from the Egyptian foreign service in 2017
