Coronavirus impacts farmers in the Egyptian 'Village of Jasmine'

The Egyptian village of 'Shubra Balloula,' known as the 'Village of Jasmine,' produces 50% of the jasmine paste that is used to manufacture perfumes all over the world.

This year however, the village was not spared from the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
