Jordan says it intercepted flying objects entering its airspace to ensure citizens' safety

The Kingdom of Jordan said in a statement from its cabinet that it intercepted some flying objects that entered its airspace on Saturday to ensure the safety of citizens.

"Some shrapnel fell in multiple places during that time without causing any significant damage or any injuries to citizens," the statement said.

The remains of missiles, believed to be from Iran's retaliatory strike on Israel, were found in Marj al-Hamam in Amman, the capital of Jordan.
