Jordan's foreign minister says events in Gaza qualify as genocide: Reuters

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said on Monday that the events in Gaza were within the realm of the legal definition of genocide.
Safadi made the comments in a news conference at the Union for the Mediterranean summit held in Barcelona, according to Reuters news agency.
He reiterated a call for an extension to the current truce in Gaza that was made by other participants at the summit, and expressed regret that "some among us" refused to support that call.
