Israel approves mandatory minimum sentences for stone-throwers

The Israeli government has approved a bill developed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that sets mandatory minimum prison sentences for throwing rocks, firebombs and firecrackers. Minors, as well as their parents will be liable, under the new laws, Haaretz reported.
