The Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has caused numerous losses in many important sectors of Gaza's economy. The ministry of agriculture has estimated direct damages caused by the Israeli war at around $250 million. 
With regards to the agricultural sector, the offensive has caused significant damage to 17 thousand hectares of agricultural land in the Gaza Strip, said the latest reports released  the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
The Israeli operations have also affected a large part of the agricultural infrastructure, including greenhouses, irrigation systems, animal farms and fishing boats.
