Palestinian woman shot dead in West Bank after alleged stabbing attack
A 26-year-old Palestinian woman was shot dead in the occupied West Bank on Thursday after an alleged stabbing attack that left one Israeli injured, medical and local media sources said.
Iman Odeh was killed near the town of Huwwara, the Palestinian health ministry said in a short statement.
The Israeli army said an attacker had been "neutralised" while Magen David Adom, Israel's equivalent of the Red Cross, said it had treated a stabbed 20-year-old Israeli man before he was taken to hospital.
This incident raises the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the beginning of this year to 105, including 17 children.
A total of 19 Israelis and one Ukrainian have been killed by Palestinians so far this year.

Earlier on Thursday, three Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the historic centre of the West Bank city of Nablus.
The Israeli army said two of the three Palestinians killed were suspected to have been involved in an attack in April near Hamra, an illegal Israeli settlement in the Jordan Valley, in which three members of a British-Israeli settler family were killed, Haaretz reported.
Israel's army identified the killed suspects as Hassan Qatnani and Muath al-Masri, adding that a third Palestinian, Ibrahim Hura, was also among the dead.
The identity of those killed, however, could not be immediately verified by Palestinian authorities.
