Social media speaks: ISIS Iraq takeover

With confusion reigning supreme in Iraq right now social media is providing rare insight into the madness
Iraq's second city Mosul has been completely taken over in the last few days (AFP)

There were mixed reactions to the approach of militant fighters. While ISIL is said to be leading the charge, other groups also appeared to be involved and even took responsability for some of the attacks.

 Reports of push back have started to emmerge, although these have yet to be confirmed
