Op-Ed video: A message on Nakba day

Spokesman for Neurei Karta Jews in the US sends message of solidarity with the Palestinian people on the 75th anniversary of the Nakba

Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss sent a powerful message of solidarity with the Palestinian people on the 75th anniversary of the Nakba.

"We want the world to know. We are together with the Palestinian people in their suffering," the spokesman for Neurei Karta Jews in the US told Middle East Eye.

The word "Nakba" means "catastrophe" in Arabic, and refers to the systematic ethnic cleansing of two-thirds of the Palestinian population by Zionist paramilitaries to make way for the creation of Israel in 1948.

Zionist forces seized control of more than 78 percent of historic Palestine and expelled at least 750,000 Palestinians from their lands and homes.
