Tunisia: Protesters defy ban on gatherings to demonstrate against president’s power grab

Tunisian police used tear gas and water cannons on Friday to disperse demonstrations against President Saied’s power grab.

Dozens were reportedly arrested during the protest that took place on the 11th anniversary of the Tunisian revolution.
