Anwar Mhajne
Anwar Mhajne is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department Political Science at the University of Cincinnati (UC). She received her M.A. in Women’s Studies from UC, where she completed her thesis entitled: Women’s Political Participation in Egypt’s Arab Spring Uprising: “Bargaining with Patriarchy” and the Deployment of Feminine Identities. Her dissertation examines the interaction between the political opportunity structure in Egypt and the Muslim Sisterhood’s activism between 2010 and now.
