Tunisian Revolution - ten years on

Ten years ago Mohammed Bouazizi, a Tunisian street vendor, set himself on fire outside a government building to protest against government corruption and mass unemployment in Tunisia.

His act would spark a nationwide revolution toppling Tunisian president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and ignite mass protests across the Middle East and North Africa that would soon be known as the Arab Spring.

This is the story of Bouazizi and the Tunisian revolution.
